what would it be for you.

does it matter about msn and yahoo having messengers?

or do you prefer just a straight email box

I like outlook and outlook express. Very easy to use with jaws. I try to stay away from webmail. I use my ISP's email service and their webmail is accessible, but I also have them setup through OE. I use to like the msn email until they changed their page and now it isn't all that accessible. Also I hear now they charge to use pop3 service. When I used yahoo and their site changed someone from the jaws list actually told me how to set it back to the old layout, but can't remember how it was done.

I currently use forte agent, and a free email service called fast mail (www.fastmail.fm), which allows consolidation of many email accounts via pop.
I personally use fastmail's pop server to retrieve my mail (you have to pay for it).
There's also a program from jma software called web2pop which does the same thing.

I currently use outlook express. In the past, I've used Eudora, and had no problems with it.

Well, going with outlook express on this one. I have mine configured to use GMail and Hotmail(disclaimer, my hotmail account is older then dirt when access was allowed through outlook express now for new accounts it must be payed for.) In my opinion GMail is the best. Also, I have tried thunderbird which is the firefox e-mail client and although there are no scriptes for it it can work. Since grafics aren't labeled read or unread status is not able to be determined.
